Behind the Scenes of the Fracture Clash #3rd Edition
Author : Kels le 28 Sept. 2023
We had the opportunity to interview one of the organizers of the most renowned French competition on Wild Rift: the Fracture Clash. He is also one of the mentors and founders of La Faille Sauvage: Wild JS!

La Faille Sauvage: Hello JS! Let's start this interview with a brief introduction about yourself, the classic one, so that people who don't know you yet can get to know you.
JS: Wild JS, a streamer with a straw hat and the worst stream setup, especially, let's admit it! I started getting involved in Twitch with Wild Rift esports in March 2022. The excitement around the game motivated me to launch the LaFailleSauvage channel, which has now become a media platform with its website, etc. Naturally, in a year and a half, my role evolved into a CEO mode. We're supposed to open an esports arena by the end of the year, you know ;)
La Faille Sauvage: We'll obviously talk about the Fracture Clash #3, but before that, what motivates Wild JS? What keeps him here 1 and a half years after the EMEA WREC, especially?
JS: You guys. Whether it's you, my dear Kels, all the members of the collective, and obviously the players/spectators of Wild Rift esports! The project is only growing, and clearly, with the CLF#3, we're stepping into another dimension of esports events... In short, we're not playing around in our rooms anymore, hehe. That's what motivates me to make this scene grow, clearly.
La Faille Sauvage: The CLF, let's talk about it, back for a 3rd edition, can you tell us more? Maybe introduce what will change compared to the first 2 editions?
JS: In two words: Partners and LAN. I can't say much more because announcements will come in the next few days, but concretely, this edition has little to do with the previous ones in terms of ambitions and resources invested. This time, we're trying to create a real mobile esports celebration for players by players!
La Faille Sauvage: You're part of the team that organized and set up this new edition; what has been the most challenging aspect of the organization?
JS: Not much has been difficult so far, to be honest, except for maintaining motivation and allocating the resources, i.e., giving it enough time! Whether it's the LFS team or The Purge Tournament, the organization members are all super determined and competent, so it's a pleasure to build this beautiful project for the community... Oh, and shoutout to Nikaido, who's not always on time for morning meetings, gotta say it, haha.
La Faille Sauvage: When organizing an event like this, what do you feel, and what do you expect from it? What would be the most rewarding thing for you?
JS: There's a sense of pride in putting together a highly accomplished project considering the evolution of the Wild Rift scene in France. Let's face it, no one has yet put in the effort to create a competition of this scale for the game in France... So, naturally, it puts a lot of pressure on the shoulders, but between us, it's nothing but fun and experience (I'm still a student). The most rewarding thing would be to meet everyone and share a unique moment around my passion... Also, saying that we're better than OTP would be pretty cool, to be honest ^^
La Faille Sauvage: I'll let you conclude!
JS: I hope you didn't pony on November 11th...
